SPAN Annual Meeting 2014
The SPAN annual meeting moved to the Dunblane Hydro for the first time this year. Speakers included Dr Mike Tremlett, Dr Alyson Walker, and Dr Tom Engelhardt covering the topics of codeine, “cant intubate, can’t oxygenate” and the now ongoing APRICOT trial.
The trainee presentation session for research and audit drew the largest number of applications yet, and was well received. Dr Lesley McKee, our current chairperson, hosted a national morbidity and mortality meeting covering various incidents submitted anonymously by SPAN members.
