There will be a number of places set aside for non-medical staff to attend; if there is someone in your department who you think may be interested, please get in touch soon, places will be first come first served.

This year we are exploring the use of electronic transfer of money as well as cheques to pay for the meeting. Details of how to apply and pay are included on the booking form below.

There will be limited places for this meeting to reduce the size of the afternoon workshop groups, so please book early to avoid disappointment. We would anticipate this meeting being awarded 5 CPD points from the Royal College of Anaesthetists, as with previous educational meetings.

There will be trainee presentations and posters at this year’s Education Meeting; our trainee representative Dr Laura Jack will be sending out details through the mailing list and can be contacted through SPAN if there are any questions regarding submission.

We have booked videoconferencing facilities for the day which will be available for all sessions up until lunchtime and one session after lunch. Unfortunately the equipment cannot be moved around the rooms due to its size and complexity. If you wish to videoconference then please contact me at nealwillis@nhs.net so we can arrange to set that up in plenty of time. There will be at least 3 VC places available.
