A paper from Anaesthesia suggests that use of the enFlow IV fluid warmer may result in potentially toxic levels of aluminium being released into the warming fluids. (The MDA alert 2019/015)

The next APA linkman meeting will be a joint meeting with SPAN at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh on 4th November 2019. More details to come nearer the time!

The date of the next annual spring meeting of SPAN is Tuesday 24th April 2018 in Edinburgh. The venue this year is the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Topics include:
Time to prepare any posters or oral presentations you might wish to submit! They can be cases, audits or research related to paediatric anaesthesia or critical care. Submit your abstract as a word document in less than 400 words to Laura.Jack1@nhs.net by Friday 16th March.
